We know that our little website is visible everywhere in this big wide world of ours and if you live outside of the United Kingdom, we thank you for finding us and being interested in our products, but for now, we are sorry to let you know that if you live outside of the United Kingdom, we do not currently offer International shipping and shipping is restricted to the United Kingdom only.
With this in mind, it’s important to know that our policies change from time to time and we will continue to review our policies on a regular basis. We currently deliver within the UK only and delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process.

Please allow at least 5-7 working days (Monday – Friday) for your order to arrive. We endeavour to ship all orders with 2 working days and a tracking code is provided with all orders upon shipment.
Where appropriate when we ship your product, we may re-use packaging materials to reduce our footprint on the world.
At Little woodpecker, we understand on occasion there may be a time where you may wish to return your item(s) and as part of our strategy to provide excellence in customer service and satisfaction, therefore we have created a simple returns process to make sure that we provide the service you should expect from any online business. Should you have an occasion that means that you need to return your item(s), under distance selling regulations you may return any item(s) within 30 days of receipt as long as it is unused, unopened and in its original packaging. When we received your item back at Little Woodpecker HQ one of our team will inspect the item(s) and we will be provide a full refund for the item(s) back to the Credit Card/PayPal Account used in the original purchase or if you like we can exchange it for an alternative replacement.
Please note: We are not able to refund any postage charges for the return unless the falls under our returning a faulty item(s) policy or cancelling your order policy below. If however you decide you wish to exchange the item(s), we will send any exchanged item(s) free of postage charges.
To process your return please follow this procedure:
- Find your ‘Returns Items’ form: With your order, you will have also been sent a delivery note. On the back of this note, you will find your ‘Return items’ form with instructions as to how to return your items.
- Complete the ‘Returns Items’ form: Fill in the ‘Returns items’ form with the relevant details as instructed.
- Package your ‘Return Items’ form and items: In your return package, enclose your ‘Return Items’ form with the items that you are returning. Then securely wrap and seal your package to be posted back to us.
- Send the item(s) to us: Take your return package to the post office and send it standard delivery or if you prefer, recorded delivery. If you are sending the item standard delivery you must make sure you ask for a free certificate of postage receipt.

- Make sure your item(s) is securely wrapped.
- Enclose your ‘Returns items’ form with the items to be returned in the same package.
- If sending the package standard delivery, get a free certificate of postage from the Post Office.
- All parcels are returned at your own cost, unless they fall under our Returning a faulty item(s) policy or Cancelling your order policy below. Where a refund of postage is applicable, we will refund postage costs to a maximum of Standard Delivery only.
- The Little Woodpecker takes no responsibility for item(s) lost in the post, as we can only be responsible for your parcel once it has been received into our premises, Little Woodpecker HQ. Item(s) lost in transit will not be treated as returned.
Returning a faulty item(s)
Things happen and at The Little Woodpecker we know on very rare occasions there may be a fault with an item(s). Should this happen to you, and you have identified a fault within 30 days of purchase, then please use the Returns Procedure above to return the item(s) for a refund or exchange. On receipt of the item back at Little Woodpecker HQ, one of our team will inspect the item(s) at fault and in the case that the item is faulty, we believe that our customers should not have to pay for the return postage so we will refund any postage on a faulty item(s) for standard return postage charges only.
Please note: When you return a faulty item(s), you must use standard delivery and obtain a free certificate of postage receipt for the item(s). After successful inspection of your returned item(s) we will process your refund or exchange as quickly as possible. Should an exchange item(s) be out of stock we will notify you by email and advice on revised delivery estimates. In such a situation you may choose an alternative exchange item or opt for a full refund.
Item(s) clearly found to be faulty or damaged through misuse or wear and tear cannot be returned for exchange or refund, and postage costs for both the return back to us and from us to you will be at your expense.
Cancelling your order
We know that sometimes you may wish to change your mind and under distance selling rules you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving your purchase. If you wish to exercise the right to cancel to return an item(s) back to us, you must inform us of your decision to cancel in a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post Returns, The Little Woodpecker, 80 Westfield Road, London, W13 9JA or by email to email@example.com). Then return your item(s) using the returns policy procedure detailed above, detailing the reason for return as ‘cancel my order’. Please return the item(s) unused and unopened in its original packaging. On receipt of your item(s) back at Little Woodpecker HQ one of our team will inspect the item(s) under this policy and we will happily offer you a full refund including any postage costs to a maximum of standard delivery charged only.
